Before You Build...
or remodel, or add on, or build a permanent outside structure (fence, greenhouse, storage building, garden shed) follow the steps outlined below:
- Check the deed restrictions for your filing for what is approved.
- Locate the proposed structure on a certified survey of your lot to verify that your project is within the deed restrictions and city ordinances.
- Submit your plans and survey to the City Parish Residential Office and follow their guidance on steps in the building process.
