Garage Sale and Trash Bash Make Oct 10 a Big Day!

Two popular returning events are scheduled for Saturday, October 10:  MWCA’s Fall 2015 Garage Sale and Trash Bash.

Make it a clean sweep at home and throughout the neighborhood!  Clean out your closets and help the association tidy up our roadsides, all on the same day.

The Garage Sale

As with previous sales, this fall’s event is scheduled 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  To participate, simply tie a few balloons to your mailbox or post a sign in your front yard, alerting passers-by that you’re open for business.  MWCA will advertise the sale in the Morning Advocate in the days leading up to the event.

The Trash Bash

Combine your morning walk with a little neighborhood service by picking up roadside litter as you stroll. At 8:00 a.m., Trash Bash coordinator Jim Wilkins will be back at his post in the Magnolia Woods Pool parking lot, handing out street assignments and trash bags.  Get there early to grab a cup of coffee and get your first choice of blocks.
